What are Service Items? Why should I use Service Items for my business? What are the benefits?
All the answers to these important questions are in this training video.
Now that you know about Service Items…let’s take a look at how to apply them.
I. Click on ACCOUNTS (in Navigator, left hand side).
A. >ACCOUNT LISTS
B. Select specific ACCOUNT NAME to which you want to apply Service Items
II. Create a NEW WORK ORDER > click NEW ORDER button (middle top).
A. Bypass QUICK ADD by > DONE
III. Create the new WORK ORDER.
A. Add Line Items under ITEM column below (Ex: “Carpet Cleaning”)
B. Link Service Items to Line Items (Ex: “MBR”)**
**Keep in mind: Line Items are the products and services you offer, whereas Service Items are what the products and services are being applied to (See Service Items [Part 1]).
TO CREATE NEW SERVICE ITEMS:
IV. See the dashboard (right hand side) for SERVICE ITEMS box.
A. Add single Service Items by clicking the green “+” button OR add bulk Items by clicking the MANAGE SERVICE ITEMS button
B. Add the name and dimensions of the Service Item (quantity auto populates with dimensions)
C. Once you’ve added all your desired Service Items, click SAVE
D. Once you’ve clicked SAVE, you’ll notice your new Service Items listed in the dashboard (right hand side)
TO LINK SERVICE ITEMS AND LINE ITEMS:
V. Method 1:
A. Highlight desired Line Item and then click on one or multiple Service Items to link
a. Chain link will appear next to the Line Item and Service Item to indicate a successful link
b. To remove a link, click on it again
VI. Method 2: BATCH LINK MODE
A. Click on small chain-link button in between green “+” and bulk add in dashboard
a. Opens Batch Link Mode – allows you to link multiple Service Items to whatever Line Items you want
b. Select desired Service Item(s) and then click on desired Line Item(s)
VII. If you have a lot of Service Items saved, use the SEARCH BAR to find specific Service Items.
AUTO UPDATE ON LINK:
VIII. Check if you would like the DESCRIPTION and QUANTITY to auto populate when the Service Items and Line Items are linked.
TO SAVE AN IMAGE FOR AN ACCOUNT SITE:
IX. Click on green “+” button in dashboard (right hand side)> select IMAGE tab > upload image file
